A Quick how-to. A little off topic from bonsai but, it’s my blog.
We have a pineapple.
We grasp the top
Twist it off
Peel off the bottom fronds or leaves
Until you find roots
Fill up a pot with good soil,
And fertilize now
Stick pineapple top into soil
And twist and push down
Water well
The pineapple is a bromeliad and likes to have the crown full of water. It does grow roots too so water and fertilize both.
In a short 18-24 months you should get your own pineapple. The only pest I have seen is fire ants. They like to make their nests in the pot. Just keep it off the ground.
Protect from freezing and harvest your fruit before the animals do.
Enjoy!
That’s why mine keep dying I never peel the leaves back thanks Adam
