This will be a page where I’ll just put pictures I take along my journey. Which is a lot so, here we go….
Check back often for updates

Thats Nick at a photoshoot for my Epcot submission.

Dave, Eddie and me self. Looks like we’re carting a hog out of the swamps. A big cypress we had just collected.

A willow leaf ficus I grew from a pencil thick cutting. Styled by Mike Rogers at Kawa Bonsai Societies Joy of Bonsai in 2012. Excellent artist. Excellent stock material if I do say so myself.

One of my favorite ilex. It just looks ancient.

Dave, me and Erik at a demo he was doing at Simply Hydroponics in Winter Park. We thought he needed help defoliating.

My son Andrew playing with his robot.

Don and Erik working on a crepe myrtle at a CFBC meeting.

My 2 boys Logan and Mathew plotting out the trouble they’re about to get into.

My plan for the next time I go into the swamps collecting

Mike Lebaniks stunning buttonwood cascade

Trying to explain that, yes, we must cut this all off. Shawn and Paulette were good sports.

Poor Jerry didn’t think his tree was big enough. It’s as tall as he is.

There’s The Rockstar hisself- Guy Guidry at The Gathering.

Logan reading about pine decandling and needle plucking

Mike Rogers working on a juniper at a CFBC meeting

Ryan Neil’s demo shimpaku at the 2012 BSF convention.

My son Logan. You’ve all done that before
Not recommended by the national tree surgeons union
Rare green anole in my nursery

Randy Whedon’s hot rod
A rocky mountain juniper from Cincinnati.

Awesome little carpinus. Korean hornbeam. From Doug Hawley’s collection. He had something like ten or fifteen great ones.
A fat chuhin size crepe myrtle from Doug’s. The front is all deadwood. Here in Florida it would have rotted by now.
A larch tree from Evan Luse. I’d love to be able to grow them here. I’d love to get my hands on this one too.
Me pontificating at the workshop in Cincy. The GCBS is a great club. I hope to visit them again soon.

Before demo tree in Cincinatti. Ilex schilling
After. demo tree
On the Kentucky side of the bridge to Cincinatti
At the Whedon’s home. Lots of pretty plants

A bar. … Duh

My hollow trunk elm in winter silhouette

Ed Trouts awesome salicaria

Stole this from Facebook. There are a lot of oak trees like this from the hurricanes a few years ago. Not sure of the artist.
An old fashioned caladium that grows naturally in my yard.
A guitar and a place to sit
Golden pothos ( philodendron sp. ) and some metal sculpture. The higher the leaf gets the larger the leaf. If its in a tree I’ve seen them as big as a beach ball
Lizard love. Two anoles bumpin’ uglies
Those are some cereus blooms. Get it wakawaka!
Mike Rogers. If you knew him you’d be laughing now too. He has the most distinct laugh
Rainbow on the way to Miami. Bienvedos a Miami.
Root over rock jbp belonging to Doug Hawley.
Florida lake at sunset
Andrew trying on a cop hat.
My wife did not appreciate my valentines gift. I got her a belly dancing DVD for Christmas too. I told her it would get her in shape

Glad I stumbled into this closet ~ some great stuff in here. I’ll have to peek in more often, now that I know what’s inside. I’ve got a bad habit of snaggin’ what I like too!
